Contract & Commercial Advisory

Commercial control across the whole contract lifecycle.

Situations this practice answers

01
“The performance regime in our contract does not reflect how the asset actually behaves.”
02
“We are approaching a contract renewal, extension or close-out and need an independent commercial position.”

What we do

Commencement — commercial modelling, negotiation support and commercial process design.

Performance — contract management, cost forecasting, supply-chain and subcontract oversight.

Assurance — cost monitoring, commercial process review and independent investigation.

Close-out — final account, lessons learned and project review.

A performance mechanism written before the asset was in service will eventually stop describing the asset. The question is whether that is found in a review or in a dispute.

COMMENCEMENTPERFORMANCEASSURANCECLOSE-OUT
A four-stage rule runs from commencement through performance and assurance to close-out. Commercial control follows the contract life.
